Why I built a different kind of veterinary practice
My journey over the last 10 years as a practicing veterinarian began in traditional brick-and-mortar clinics, which later led me to the fast-paced, long hours of an urgent care hospital. Seeking a different pace, I transitioned into relief veterinary services, alongside dedicated in-home hospice and end-of-life care.
Throughout these experiences, I noticed a troubling trend: the traditional veterinary model increasingly felt like it prioritized quantity over quality. Constantly rushing to the next patient meant compromising on the highly individualized, comprehensive medical planning that every pet deserves. I realized that to practice medicine the way it should be practiced, I needed to step outside the brick-and-mortar walls.

I highly value the unique bond between a pet and their owner, as well as the trusted relationship a veterinarian forms with a family. True quality care requires time — time for you to completely understand exactly what is happening with your pet, what is being recommended, and why. By bringing the care to you, I can involve you directly in the process, provide total clarity, and map out multiple tailored treatment options.

I approach my role as a veterinarian much like a detective. Every symptom, lifestyle factor, and behavior is a puzzle piece, and I love the process of putting them all together to form a complete, accurate picture of your pet's health. I leave no stone unturned and no question unanswered when determining the best tailored plan for your pet and budget.
Comprehensive general practice with advanced experience
With over a decade of veterinary experience, I frequently manage difficult, long-standing cases that are often postponed due to multiple comorbidities — such as senior pets, patients with complex heart murmurs, or severe, chronic skin conditions. While I maintain a strong network of specialists, my background allows me to manage and treat many of these conditions myself, safely, comfortably, and transparently.

Dr. Nicole Chavarry, DVM
Owner and veterinarian. 20 years in the veterinary field and 10 years as a practicing veterinarian, across general practice, urgent care, relief work, and in-home hospice and end-of-life care. DVM from Western University, FIU graduate, USDA-accredited. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Karina Hernandez
Operations manager and veterinary nurse. Runs scheduling, intake, billing, and day-to-day operations, and assists chairside. Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Gabriella Reyes
Senior veterinary nurse. Eight years in veterinary nursing across emergency and general practice. Fear-Free Certified, specializing in reactive and fearful pets.
Hospital partners
Most visits stay home. For cases that need a sterile OR, advanced imaging, or specialty therapy, we coordinate with trusted partners where Dr. Chavarry has admitting privileges.

Radiography and surgery: sterile OR and advanced imaging for surgical and complex cases.

Radiography and in-clinic services when a case needs more than a house call.
